TF2 Advanced Scout Guide theory of Deathmatch and Aim
woah, the weeb has mastered the fiction of his soy
the scout main into bored soldier jumpgod pipeline is too real whats even left to do in this game lmao also sick jumping dude
This guide basically aplies to ALL classes, and it's useful for them equally, great video truly.
Can we get a section or installment that discusses the mentality when to switch between the scattergun and pistol? The pistol can deal good damage from a distance yet has random spread while the scatterguns center bullet will always hit and can be pretty good mid range. The mentality of knowing when to switch is vital
Meh, just shoot bad guy and jump (Not being cocky is not an option)
The half life gameplay is awesome
This counter strike gameplay is awesome
Gonna enjoy this study session ❤. Wish me luck 🍀
Amazing video man. Are you a English literature student in school? The video structure and methods you used when explaining things are so well done. But one thing I want to say is that bot maps help with accuracy. As a boxer I can definitely vouch that training on a heavy bag and shadow boxing without fighting an opponent helps a lot. When I started trying to do airshots in tf2 a few years ago I didn’t know how to do it already from having picked it up from playing the game. Because in a pub you get a chance to do an air shot one time every hour on average (however a few years ago pub players weren’t that skilled as today really). That map for soldier and demo where the stationary bots jump repeatedly helped me a ton.
this is THE BEST tf2 guide ever posted on yt, thank u so much bro
crazy to think this video only blew up recently, this is really freaking good
I think I can 1v1 comfortably now thanks to you) Great gameplay as always 🎉
are you a light novel character that goes on a 10 page monologue about your battle plan in the middle of a battle do you have timestop wtf just shoot the mf, its hitscan you can't dodge hitscan, disliked
I think you have missed one of the central core points of the video, which is that someone's ability to track you isn't an quality independent of everything else. I.E. your movement will have an effect on, and determine where someone aims on you and consequently you can certainly use that to make people miss.
This is the modern day equivalent of those old sword fighting books from the middle ages
I thought this was a meme video
Most of the tf2 clips are high octane flicks while the overwatch ones are just trying to out damage the heals lol
I come back to this video to read mge chat with crisps
12:50 *camps with phlog, uses hot hand*
based guide
good content 🎉
this video is actually really really insightful. i have over 1000 hours on scout and i learned a surprising amount from this video. respect!!
damn, a really helpful guide
28:40 I love how much he over-explains everything but all the medic is probably thinking is "god i hope this random crits"
Never seen a guide so fulfilling as this one. This honestly helped in my overall critical thinking toward many aspects of tf2.
Reminds me of those savvy quake boomers who lure me into shorter more snappy strafes with the LG, only to direct rocket me so that they come back from a hp deficit. Never underestivate a savvy veteran.
the best scout guide imo, because most "guides" assume you know how to dodge, and what dodging looks like and feels like. but this guide is full in-depth on HOW to do everything scout needs to do and be good. movement>aim
God speed you magnificent bastard
This is the best thing i’ve ever seen
Y'know i never realised this, i thought that hitscan aim was based on flicks, tracking and muscle memory, I always reacted to the enemy more than predicting him. That's why at times I was better at soldier than at scout.
Ive seen a lot of guides for tf2 and aim theory in my 8 years of tf2 experience. This is an extremely cut and dry but extensive guide. Good job. You dont ramble and you articulate in a way that i struggle with trying to teach people who are just getting into tf2 and arent use to the gameplay loop
❤
Tell me you’re an overthinker without telling me you’re an overthinker
I would say that I am pointing out what others don't consciously think of, as opposed to overthinking.
Best in depth advanced scout guide 🗣️🗣️⁉️⁉️⁉️🔥🔥💯💯
Also note that in scout v scout, juking really fast makes the scouts hitbox really hard to hit because he strafs so sideways
0:10 is all the singing not the special treat?
If you want it to be, then it can.
@@MrWicked360 it is
The ground based neutral footsies tf2 is known for
Whats yours tf config?
The config I use is personally designed and isn't not publicly available. It's nothing special, its just a collection of the typical inclusions and items of my own preference.
@@MrWicked360 how do I make a good one for myself then good sir
@@fles7481I'm probably not the best person to ask. The majority of mine was done by a friend many years ago and I just told him what I wanted. I'm not the best with the config stuff. In my general view, if you've got just the basic necessities of what you want and commands that improve performance, then past that point it isn't going to make much of a difference.
this really is how it FEELS to play scout
em I could play quake live hello (though the robots here or the terminators are a real lords in terms of skill) Guide is good plus I have an issue with aiming due to... well I mostly don't see my crosshair (its still here but my aim almost fully is tied to combination of observing and instincts/aim patterns against players I played with before. When you pay attention to the enemy player and surroundings it's pretty hard to line up your crosshair with their juicy center for that 90 damage meatshot)
Finally I found this guide that I needed. I don't care about what weapons I should use and where I should use scout, I need to understand how to use his movement to my advantage. Thanks bro, you're the best
Can you release the full cover of the main theme at 0:00
Regrettably there isn't a full cover to release. I just created the associated soundbites for each of the cuts.
this is an amazing guide. you clearly have a great intuitive understanding of fundamental FPS mechanics -- many things you say here could apply to almost any arena / movement FPS from Quake to Overwatch
Why the best guide fly under the radar
this is one of the best tf2 guides on yt well done and thank you
Hey dude, amazing gameplay
That dodging part was literally like something out of matrix, this was incredible
This is some gigabrain shit, top guide
Man really did make a great tutorial on the fundamentals of DM to show off his sick 3k at mid rather than just making a frag movie like the rest of us, smh my head
All this time I felt like a fool for not being an aimbot despite all my hours in this game. Although I did suspect this is how hitscan aim worked for a while so it's nice for someone who knows what they are talking about to confirm it.
Please remake this video but add L's theme from death note everytime you're explaining a scout vs scout battle
I know this is of no fault of the creator of this video, I presume the vid is of great quality, but i have attempted to watch this 4 times and IVE FALLEN ASLEEP ALL 4 TIMES I HATE MY SLEEP CYCLE
